Shipping

Shipping times are estimates and may vary when we're busy. This doesn't apply to pre-order items. Check each product page for its shipping date.

Non-shipping days

Weekly non-shipping days: Sunday / Saturday

You can choose a preferred delivery date and time in your cart. For pre-order items, check each product page for delivery conditions. View cart

Shipping method

We ship with carriers we choose, including Japan Post, Sagawa Express and Yamato Transport. Orders to the United States ship with DHL.

When orders ship

Orders ship as early as the next business day and within 14 business days at the latest after you place your order. Business days are weekdays, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Japanese public holidays.

Note: Shipping times may vary with order volume and other factors.

Shipping fees

Free shipping within Japan on orders of ¥10,000 or more (¥15,000 or more for Okinawa and pre-order items).

Japan (excluding Okinawa)

  • Single bottle (under 500 g): ¥500
  • Standard parcel: ¥1,000
  • Free shipping within Japan on orders of ¥10,000 or more

Okinawa

  • Single bottle (under 500 g): ¥500
  • Standard parcel: ¥1,400 (up to 3 kg), ¥1,900 (over 3 kg)
  • Free shipping on orders of ¥15,000 or more

Pre-order items (delivery within Japan only)

  • Shipping: ¥1,000
  • Free shipping on orders of ¥15,000 or more

United States

  • DHL: ¥5,000–¥30,000 depending on weight (shown at checkout)
  • Free shipping does not apply

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the destination and weight.

Pre-order items ship separately from other items, so an additional shipping fee may apply. Conditions for pre-order items are listed on each product page.

Payment methods

The Chapon official store accepts the following four payment methods.

1. Credit card

Choose from five brands: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, JCB and Diners Club.

2. Convenience store payment

Pay at a convenience store through the KOMOJU payment service. Choose from FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, Lawson, Ministop or Daily Yamazaki. A payment fee of ¥190 applies.

3. Mobile payment services

Choose from eight services: Amazon Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, Rakuten Pay, PayPay, LINE Pay and Merpay.

4. Pay later with Paidy

  • No credit card needed.
  • Pay simply with your email address and mobile number.
  • Combine several purchases and pay for them together on the 10th of the following month.

Returns & refunds

7-day full refund guarantee

Purchases from the Chapon official store are covered by our 7-day full refund guarantee (orders delivered within Japan only; e-gifts excluded). Contact us within 7 days of the day your order arrives, even after use, and we'll refund the full amount you paid (items and shipping). You don't need to send the items back. To request a refund, write to hi@chapon.jp with your order number.

Defective, damaged, missing or wrong items

We'll resend the items at our cost or refund the amount concerned. Please contact hi@chapon.jp.

How refunds are made

Refunds depend on how you paid: to your card for credit card payments, by bank transfer to an account you specify for convenience store payments, and through Paidy for Paidy payments. It may take a few days for the refund to appear on your card statement.

e-Gift

e-gifts are not covered by the 7-day full refund guarantee, because the buyer and the recipient are different people. If an item we deliver is defective, damaged or wrong, please contact us within 30 days of its arrival, and we'll replace it (resend it) at our cost.

Canceling an order

We start arranging shipping as soon as we receive your order, so we can't accept cancellations after you order.

Gift wrapping

For gift wrapping, add the Chapon gift bag to your order with your items, and we'll ship them carefully wrapped. Note: One gift bag fits one Chapon set. To wrap several sets, please buy one gift bag for each.

For a paper bag, add the Chapon paper bag to your order with your items. We don't include receipts or anything showing prices.
