- You cannot choose or exclude scents. If a month does not suit you, skip it by the day before the next payment date.
- Switching between every two months and monthly is done through the contact form. Sending a message alone does not complete the change.
- Credit card only. Paidy and convenience-store payment are not available.
- Delivery in Japan only. No gift wrapping.

A refund for a box does not stop future deliveries. If you also want to stop, please tell us at the same time.
For defects, breakage, missing items or wrong deliveries, contact us within about a month of arrival. We replace at our cost, or refund the defective or missing part if we cannot. Your statutory rights are not limited.

Frequently asked questions
When am I charged?
At order, then automatically at your chosen 1- or 2-month interval. Check your next payment date in your account and reminder email. From the second payment onward, payments are expected on the same day of the month as your first order, at intervals of 1 month (monthly) or 2 months (every 2 months).
When does my first box arrive?
It ships within 3 business days after payment is confirmed and usually arrives 1–3 days later. Sign-ups from 23 to 31 October receive the October box.
Can I choose or exclude scents?
Not at the moment. If a month is not for you, skip it by the day before your next payment date.
Can I switch between monthly and every 2 months?
Please use the contact form; the switch is complete only after we confirm it. To be sure the next delivery stops, skip it in your account.
Can I return a box?
Every box is covered by our 7-day full refund guarantee, even after use. Contact hi@chapon.jp within 7 days of arrival.
Can I send it as a gift?
Not at the moment, and wrapping is not available. Please choose a regular 4-bottle set or e-gift instead.

How are the contents chosen?
Chapon chooses four bottles around one theme each month. Everyone receives the same box that month. It is announced by the 20th of the previous month.
Will I receive the same scent twice?
Not within a box, and not within 6 consecutive boxes. Scents from more than 6 months ago may return.
Can I skip a delivery?
Yes, from “Subscriptions” in your account by the day before your next payment date. Deliveries resume as usual afterwards.
Can I pause?
Yes, from your account by the day before your next payment date. Resume from the same page. Paid deliveries are still shipped.
How do I cancel?
From “Subscriptions” in your account by the day before your next payment date. No minimum term or cancellation fee. Paid deliveries are still shipped.
Can I change the delivery address?
Yes, from your account by the day before your next payment date. Japan only.
Which payment methods can I use?
Credit card (Shopify Payments) only. You can change your card in your account.

What if a bottle is broken or missing?
Please email hi@chapon.jp, ideally within a month of arrival, with a photo if you have one. We will replace it at our cost or refund the affected items.
Where can I see the ingredients?
On each scent's product page and the bottle label. Stop using a product if it does not suit your skin, and consult a doctor if concerned.
Can I look back at past boxes?
Yes, on the Past boxes page. Your orders are also in your account. A personal scent history is not available yet.
Do you deliver outside Japan?
Subscriptions are delivered within Japan only.
